The Ultimate Pursuit of Porcelain Craftsman

The so-called ceramic craftsman will give a careful revision of his artwork by his hands and knife. Every piece of Porcelain reflects the emotion of craftsman, and you could get some information of the craftsmen by observing the unique Porcelains. 

According to The Legend, Ru's beautiful color comes from a romantic dream of Huizong : "a piece of cloud breaks the blue sky after a heavy rain", thus creating a transition between the White porcelains and green porcelains. The extraordinary Ru porcelains are the masterpiece of museum.

Ru porcelains ranked the first in Chinese five famous kilns, and it got its name for its birth place:  Ruzhou, Henan, china. Ru porcelains enjoy the reputation of the gorgeous movement in Chinese ceramic history. And its glaze was described as "a piece of cloud breaks the blue sky after a heavy rain", "the continuous green mountains and vast lake waves jump into your eyes". The Ru porcelains have the fine clay, smooth ceramic body, thick glaze as well as the clear sound. The glaze is featured with various texture such as: pear peel, crab claw, sesame. And people think highly of the Ru glaze of “it is as smooth as the jade. It was pursued and imitated by subsequent emperors". And the official Kiln in Southern song dynasty came to a pinnacle. Although Ru kiln wasn't recreated at that time, the remaining craftsmen of that time fired a very high level of green porcelains. Until the Southern Song Dynasty was destroyed, the firing skills of Ru kiln and the official kiln were completely lost. Although successive generations tried their best to imitate the Ru porcelains, it had never been successful yet. Therefore there are only 65 pieces of authentic Ru porcelains in the world. As the old saying goes, "a piece of Ru porcelain surpasses vast valuable treasure."

For a good teapot, tea water should flow smoothly and never hang on the inner wall of pot nor branch the water. In order to reach that purpose, we found that a short mouth design is more practical and easy to use after hundreds of experiments. This also reflects the craftsmen’characters of uprightness, frankness, and nature. Although the glaze of traditional porcelains are simple and bright, the craftsmen decorates the glaze with traditional Ying opera images, showing ingenuity scene.
